Miami FC Matches to be Broadcasted Nationally and Worldwide

Miami, FL - The Miami FC, the team of Italian legend Paolo Maldini, has announced US and global broadcast deals for its inaugural 2016 season in the North American Soccer League (NASL). The deals mean that Miami FC will be the only club in the NASL to broadcast all its matches internationally.

In the US, beIN Sports, CBS Sports Network, One World Sports and Gol TV will all broadcast Miami FC's games, confirming the increasing popularity of soccer in North America. Global interest in North American soccer is growing too, with over 100 countries now confirmed to broadcast Miami FC's games. In addition, the NASL will broadcast all matches on ESPN 3 stream. The deals were made possible through a partnership between The Miami FC and MP & Silva, the leading sports media rights distributor.

The Miami FC, the only professional soccer club in Miami, whose Head Coach is AC Milan and Italy legend Alessandro Nesta, kicks off its season this Saturday at 7 p.m. as they travel to Fort Lauderdale to take on the Strikers. This match will be broadcast on beIN Sports. The Miami FC's President, Riccardo Silva said:

These are exciting times for soccer in Miami and it's fantastic that fans in the U.S. and around the world can enjoy Miami FC's games throughout 2016."

In the United States, fans will be able to watch seven matches via beIN Sports, six matches on CBS Sports Network, One World Sports will be covering three matches, and 19 matches will be covered on Gol TV.

In the worldwide market, nine different broadcast companies will cover Miami FC matches in over 100 countries. The broadcasters include: Eurosport2, covering 47 Countries; beIN Sports, covering 32 countries in Europe, North Africa and Asia; Eleven covering 4 Countries in Europe and Asia; Charlton in Israel; Digitalb in Albania; Mediaset in Italy; FOX in Turkey, Malta, Greece, Cyprus, Israel, Italy, and the Netherlands; Setanta Eurasia in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan; Eurosport Asia and Australia in Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea, Brunei, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Papa New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

The 2016 Miami FC broadcast will feature Bruce Silverman, a twenty-five year veteran journalist, as the play-by-play, and Juan Arango, an experienced soccer-broadcast personality, as the color analyst. Silverman began his broadcasting career in 1989 in Athens, GA at WNGM-TV as a sports anchor/director. For the past three seasons, he has served as the Play by Play Voice of the NASL's Fort Lauderdale Strikers. Bruce also hosts a national sports talk show, SILVERMAN: On Sports on Monday nights from 7-9pm eastern.

"I am honored to be the Voice of Miami FC for their inaugural season," said Silverman. "Miami FC is a first class organization on and off the pitch, and I am thrilled to bring all the goals and saves to the fans. I am also excited to partner and cover the matches with someone as experienced in soccer as Juan Arango."

Arango began his career writing as a South American football correspondent in Argentina for Goal.com. Arango has also been on television where he's filled various roles as host, analyst and even match commentator for various networks. During his career, he's covered two World Cups, three Copa Américas and various other international events for networks such as Gol TV, BeIN Sports, Sportsmax, Eurosport and Fox Sports Australia. In 2015, he was given the distinct honor of being the lead commentator for the Copa América with Sportsmax for the entire Caribbean.
