Miami, FL- Miami FC resumed their practices at Tropical Park Stadium this morning after a 2-2 draw with the Toronto Lynx in a game held at our home venue last night.
With the tie, the South Floridian squad is 6th in the USL First Division Standings. Miami FC faces the 2005 USL First Division Champions, Seattle Sounders, this Sunday at 5:00 PM at Tropical Park Stadium. This game will be televised live on FOX Soccer Channel starting at 4:30 PM.
Brazilian forward Romario, who scored last night against Toronto, is leading the league with 6 goals. Guatemalan forward Mario Rodriguez is 11th in the league in points. "El Loco" has recorded 2 goals and 2 assists, accumulating 6 points in total.
Rodriguez commented on the upcoming match against the current USL Champions, "We must win and keep adding points because our priority is to make it to the play-offs."
Miami FC will host a pre-game match between East Broward United U16 Boys and Davie Soccer Club U17 Boys with a kick off at 2:45 PM
