
Miami FC determined to beat Spanish side, Deportivo Alaves

Miami, FL- Miami FC faces a stern test tomorrow night at Tropical Park when they play Spanish side Deportivo Alaves at 8:00 PM EST. Nonetheless, the South Floridians are ready to face what could potentially be their toughest test of the season to date.
Miami FC practiced this morning at their home venue and Coach Chiquinho de Assis will have his complete squad available for the game that will serve as a thermometer to test where they stand at the international level.
Newly acquired defender, Francisco Gomez will likely make his debut with Miami FC during tomorrow night's Friendly International.
Deportivo Alaves has been in South Florida since last Thursday in preparation for their 2006-2007 season. Among the stars on Deportivo Alaves's roster are Australian international, John Aloisi (who scored a goal against Japan in the 2006 World Cup), Argentine international Roberto Bonano, ex-Chelsea midfielder, Enrique De Lucas, Ruben Navarro, Senegalese Pape Thiaw, and Brazilians Thiago Gentil, Nené, and Wesley.
This is the first of two international friendly games Miami FC is hosting in the month of August. On Wednesday, August 9, they also face Guatemalan Champions, Municipal, at Tropical Park Stadium at 8 PM EST.
