HOUSTON - The Houston Comets announced today that the team has waived forward Mfon Udoka.
Udoka (6-0, DePaul '98), who signed as a free agent with the Comets on May 1, 2003, averaged 3.2 points and 2.0 rebounds in 25 games for Houston last season. Overall, Udoka has played in 28 WNBA games with the Detroit Shock (3) and Houston (25), averaging 3.0 points and 1.9 rebounds. She was originally signed by the WNBA and assigned to Detroit on May 8, 1998.
