MT. PLEASANT, S.C. - Real Salt Lake used goals from MF Javier Morales and FW Pablo Campos after halftime to register its first win of the 2010 preseason, a 2-1 exhibition victory over the College of Charleston Cougars at the Patriots Point Athletic Complex. The contest kicked off less than 24 hours after Real Salt Lake arrived in South Carolina for its 17-day stay in the Palmetto State, which will mark the MLS Cup champion's second and final camp of the 2010 preseason.

After dueling to a scoreless first half, Real Salt Lake went up five minutes after the break when Argentine MF Nelson González found his fellow countryman Morales inside the area, with the veteran playmaker finishing the chance to give the visitors the lead. The Cougars would tie it back up just before the hour mark with a chipped shot from 40 yards out that floated over ‘keeper Kyle Reynish, but Campos would give RSL the lead back in the 67th minute with a low shot from 25 yards out that snuck inside the left post.
