MeTV, ESPN3 to Broadcast Match vs. Pittsburgh

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville City FC (3-1-0, 9 points) is fresh off a top-of-the-table standing, two USL Player of the Week awards in the first four weeks, and a two-match win streak. The Club's continued success will now be available to both a local and national audience with the April 27 match against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds set to broadcast on MeTV Louisville and ESPN3 at 7:30 p.m.

"This is a tremendous occasion for Louisville City and the city of Louisville," Louisville City FC president Amanda Duffy said. "We are excited to showcase the talent of our players and the energy our fans bring to Slugger Field to both a national and local audience."

The feed will air locally on MeTV Louisville, a member of official Louisville City FC TV partner WLKY's family.

The Wednesday night match on MeTV Louisville will be broadcast free of charge on over the air channel 32.2 and will also be available on TWC channel 188.

ESPN3 will offer 20 exclusive, live and in HD USL Game of the Week broadcasts throughout the season that debuts April 22 with exclusive coverage of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds hosting Orlando City B at Highmark Stadium.

Award-winning soccer announcer Michael Watts and Juan Arango will work the broadcast booth for the 2016 USL Games of the Week on ESPN3. Watts, who will serve as play-by-play announcer, has appeared on broadcasts for ESPN3, Fox Sports Go, YES Network, the NWSL, and beIN Sports, as well as several college sports networks. Arango is a Miami-based journalist who has covered soccer and other sports for more than 10 years as a writer as well as a play-by-play announcer for various media outlets domestically and internationally, including Gol TV, ESPN International, TALKSport, BBC World Service, World Football Daily and also appeared on Radio Globo in Brazil.

ESPN3 is ESPN's live multi-screen sports network, a 24/7 destination that delivers thousands of global sports events annually and is accessible online via WatchESPN.com.

It is currently available to approximately 70 million homes at no additional cost to fans who receive their high-speed Internet connection or video subscription from an affiliated service provider. The network is also available at no cost to approximately 21 million U.S. college students and U.S.-based military personnel via computers connected to on-campus educational networks and on-base military networks.

Louisville City FC returns to action on April 22 with a visit to the Harrisburg City Islanders. LouCity returns to Slugger Field for the special night on April 27 to host Pittsburgh Riverhounds (7:30 p.m. | TICKETS).
