
Mentzingen, Moshobane Earn USL League One Team of the Week Honors

LANSING, Mich. - Lansing Ignite FC midfielder Rafael Mentzingen has been named the USL League One Player of the Week for Week 16 of the league's inaugural 2019 season, while attacker Tumi Moshobane earned Team of the Week honors alongside his teammate.
Mentzingen recorded one goal and two assists over Lansing's two outings over the week, including helping lead a dramatic victory against Forward Madison FC last Tuesday night that moved Ignite FC into third place in the League One Standings.
Moshobane scored both goals, recorded three shots on goal and one key pass and won 11 of 15 duels in Ignite FC's 2-2 draw with FC Tucson on Saturday night.
Eight Lansing players have received Team of the Week honors this regular season, including Xavier Gomez, Nick Moon, Grant Stoneman, Kevin Coiffic, Ivo Cerda, Stefan Cleveland, Mentzingen and Moshobane. Gomez, Coiffic and Stoneman have been named to the USL League One Team of the Week three times in 2019, while Mentzingen joins Stoneman as the only LIFC players to have earned Player of the Week honors this regular season.
