
Memory to help coach Reign

Portland, Oregon â May 27, 2004. The Portland Reign announced the hiring of its second Assistant Coach, Kumbeno Memory.
Memory has over ten years experience in coaching and player development. For the last five years Memory has worked directly with Tim Grgurich, Maurice Cheeks, Bob Medina, Dan Panaggio, Jerome Kersey, Bernard Smith John Loyer, Jim Lynum and the Portland Trail Blazers at their practice facility located in Tualatin, Oregon. Memory has also worked at the highest level on the AAU circuit and his coaching experience has been utilized by numerous basketball camps, including camps for Brian Grant, Damon Stoudamire, Cliff Robinson, Scottie Pippen and Portland State University.
Memory has played two years of junior college basketball and one year at Belmont Abbey College (NCAA/DIV-II) in Charlotte, North Carolina. Memory finished his senior year season at Cascade College (NAIA/DIV-II) in Portland, Oregon. Currently Memory is facilitating his own skill development business titled Hoop Dreams Basketball, LLC. He is also the Skill Development Director for ICP Basketball and holds a pivotal role with the All-Star Basketball Academy.
Memory is planning to finish his Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Portland State University. He is a 1995 graduate of Cleveland High School in Portland, Oregon.
