Meet this year's Xplorers

SOUTHAVEN --- Memphis Xplorers fans can kick off another championship season at the annual X-Fest on Tuesday March 28 at the Links Apartments office and pool area. All fans are invited to come out from 5 to 7 p.m. to meet this year's team, talk with the coaches, enjoy free food and drink and, for those who purchased them, pick up their season tickets.

Coca-Cola will be providing the drinks while Natural Born Grillers will be doing the cooking. Xplorers players and coaches will be on hand from 5 to 6 to talk with fans.

The Links Apartments are the official residence of the 2006 Memphis Xplorers and are located 3 ½ miles west of I-55 on Stateline Road in Southaven. For information, call the Xplorers office at 662-342-1755.

The defending ArenaCup Champion Xplorers wrap up their two weeks of training camp at the Pyramid this weekend. The final roster will be set on Monday with the season opener a week from Saturday on April 1 at Tennessee Valley.

The Xplorers' home opener will be a week later when they host the Florida Firecats at the DCC at 7 p.m.

The Memphis Xplorers...2005 ArenaCup Champions

The Xplorers will defend their Arena Cup Championship in 2006 and you can be in on the action. The season begins on April 1 at Tennessee Valley with the home opener on April 8 versus the Florida Firecats.
