BAKERSFIELD -The Bakersfield Blitz 2006 team will be making their first appearance of the season for a meet and greet at John's Incredible Pizza located at 3709 Rosedale Hwy in Bakersfield, this Thursday March 23, 2006 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Paul Press, the general Manager feels that, "This is a great opportunity for our players to meet the people that make this organization happen." All sponsors, staff, owners, coaches and media are invited to attend.

The Blitz begin their fifth season in Bakersfield on Sunday April 9, 2006 when they host the expansion team Spokane Shock. Single game tickets range from $10 to $40 based on location. Kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m. The first 5,000 fans will receive a 2006 Blitz Schedule magnet
