We have the coaches, players and cheerleaders set for the 2008 season. Now how about meeting the AK Wild before the first game kick's off on March 6th at 7:30pm at the Sullivan Arena versus the Fairbanks Grizzlies. All fans are welcome (especially Season Ticket Holders and Sponsors) to come out to the Alaska Wild Berry Theater at 6pm on March 4th to meet and greet the Alaska Wild. "This meet and greet will be a great ice breaker with our team and our fans by having the chance to get to know each other before the first game on March 6th," said AK Wild President/CEO David Weatherholt. At the Alaska Wild meet and greet pep rally, fans will have the chance to win prizes, enjoy food and drinks, plus most of all meet the AK Wild.

The Alaska Wild is part of the Intense Football League (IFL). Founded in 2003, the IFL consists of a record nine professional indoor football teams, three of which are located outside of Texas, the Louisiana Swashbucklers of Lake Charles, the Alaska Wild of Anchorage, Alaska and the Fairbanks Grizzlies of Fairbanks, Alaska. Texas teams include the CenTex Barracudas of Belton, Corpus Christi Hammerheads, Odessa Roughnecks, San Angelo Stampede Express, Katy Ruff Riders, and Frisco Thunder.
