Chicago Rush News Release
The Chicago Rush activated WR/LB Jeremy McDaniel from the league's injured reserve list and placed WR/LB Carlos Wright back on injured reserve, the team announced today.
McDaniel has missed the last two games after injuring his knee in practice March 4. Prior to the injury, McDaniel, the team's second-leading receiver in 2004, had posted back-to-back solid performances while filling in for the injured Henry Douglas. McDaniel caught 14 passes for 165 yards and three touchdowns in games against Columbus and Orlando.
Wright was placed on IR with a quad contusion suffered in practice. He has played in one game this season â March 6 against the Nashville Kats, catching one pass and recording one tackle.
After its thrilling 48-45 win in Grand Rapids last week, the Rush (4-3) returns home to Allstate Arena Sunday at 11 a.m. to host the Southern Division-leading New Orleans VooDoo (5-2), owned by New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson. Fans wishing to purchase tickets to the game, or any remaining Rush home game, may order by calling Ticketmaster at (312) 559-1212, or by visiting the Ticketmaster Web site at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets also may be purchased in person at any Ticketmaster outlet or the Allstate Arena box office.
