The Johnstown Riverhawks of the Atlantic Indoor Football League have named McCracken Chiropractic as the team's official chiropractic clinic.
Located at 2519 Bedford Street in Johnstown, the clinic, in business for four years, specializes in a procedure called Active Release Technique, which involves soft-tissue treatment for injuries by sprinters and triathletes. The procedure is being introduced in rehabilitating baseball and football players from such injuries. The clinic is one of a select few in Western Pennsylvania incorporating this procedure along with doing standard spinal adjustment.
Dr. Larry McCracken, owner of the clinic, also serves as the team doctor for the Johnstown High School Trojans.
This is the clinic's first corporate sponsorship on a professional sports level.
