Elmira Jackals News Release

The Elmira Jackals announced Tuesday that they have loaned center Brock McBride to the AHL's Houston Aeros and defenseman Jody Pederson to the AHL's Worcester Sharks. McBride, who spent the last month with the Aeros and collected six points (3g-3a) in 14 games with the club, returned to Elmira for Sunday's game against Florida and scored a goal in the contest. The Cornwall, Ontario native has points in all six games with the Jackals this season (2g-7a).

Pederson is +1 in eight games with the Jackals in 2010-2011 after spending the first month of the season on injured reserve. The rookie from Princeton attended training camp with the Sharks.

The Jackals are in Reading for a crucial Atlantic Division battle on Friday before returning home to take on the Kalamazoo Wings on DeMet's Turtle Toss night at First Arena this Saturday at 7:35 p.m. For tickets, call (607) 734-PUCK (7825), visit the First Arena Box Office, or log onto JackalsHockey.com.
