McArdle and Durkin Named to 2015 All-MLL Team

Major League Lacrosse has announced this year's 2015 ALL-MLL Team Presented by New Balance and #Launch2015 attackman Kieran McArdle and defenseman Tucker Durkin were named to the squad. The roster is voted on by MLL Head Coaches and General Managers, and is comprised of some of the best talent in the League, all of whom stood out at their respective positions.

Kieran McArdle held off the sophomore slump that many rookies experience in their second seasons and continued to show fans why he is one of the best attackman in the League. McArdle followed up his 2014 Rookie of the Year season with another season topper; ending the 2015 season leading the MLL in goals with 47. McArdle also rounded out the points leaderboard second only to Rob Pannell with 65 points. McArdle tallied at least three points in every game this season for the Launch and had 65% of his 47 goals unassisted.

Florida Launch's top defender and captain Tucker Durkin has been a offensive stop powerhouse all season and was recognized as the Warrior Defensive Player of the Week in the final week of regular MLL season. Durkin and his defensive line held then playoff-bound Rochester Rattlers to only 11 goals in the Launch's 18-11 win on Saturday night. In the final win of the season for the Launch, Durkin shut down Rochester's leading scorer Jordan Wolfe. Wolfe, who has been averaging 2.7 goals per game, was held to only one goal in this game. That wasn't the only game Durkin had shut down teams' top scorers but because of his performance the Launch were able to notch a win in their final performance. Durkin finishes his third MLL season logging time in every game this season for the Launch and tallying three points off two goals and one assist.
