November 21, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Maywood Buzz News Release

Fairbanks, AK - The Maywood Buzz who are from sunny Southern California stepped on the plane last night and first thought was "Toto we aren't in Kansas anymore". Welcome to Fairbanks, Alaska where the weather during landing was -22 degrees and back at home when the Buzz arrived at LAX it was a whopping 75 degrees and sunny. "This really new to me, I mean I been to Quebec and Halifa Canada in winter, but neither can match what it feels like outside" stated Buzz Head Coach Burrel Lee III. Ice scrapers, pulling the van into an electrical outlet overnight is all new to the Buzz, but when 8:30pm comes around tonight the Maywood Buzz will be very familiar with the game and task at hand. "We played 3 really good games last weekend in the Buzz Shoot-Out, but now we have the chance to play 3 more teams and see where we are going into our season opener next weekend at home" added Lee.

If things continue as it was last weekend, the Buzz plan to melt the snow and cold away with the hot shooting of Isaac Burton, Joey Saavedra, Jamar Cramer and Wesley Stokes.
