Maywood Buzz News Release
Maywood, CA. The ABA Maywood Buzz will be hosting their 2008 Celebrity Basketball Game on Monday, January 21, 2008 at 2 p.m. Following the Celebrity Game, there will be a slam dunk and 3 point shooting contest following the Maywood Buzz vs. the Orange County Gladiator regular season game.
On Sunday, January 20th, at 12 noon, the Buzz will be hosting Wrestling Day and an ABA game. Former WWE Wrestlers, along with the Ballard Brothers from Vancouver Canada will be in the ring with Maywood Buzz Head Coach/GM Burrell Lee III. Also from the UFC will be Mariano Mendoza and the Repo Man. All happening at the Maywood Activity Center, located at 4801 East 58th Street, Maywood CA 90270. A few of the celebrities that have made a commitment to play are:
