Maywood Buzz GM Named To PCBL All-Star Team

Maywood, CA - (June 20, 2007) Maywood Buzz General Manager/Head Coach Burrel Lee III named to 2007 PCBL All-Star Game. The Pacific Coast Baseball League (www.pcbl.org) in its 15th Season is a semi-pro baseball league in Southern California with about 45+ teams.

There are 3 divisions Single A, Double A and Triple A.

"This is our first season in the league" stated Lee. "We have only won 2 games with 8 more to go and we are looking forward to the 2nd half and also the fall season" Lee added. Lee who plays and manage the Double A CBAT's. CBATs which stands for Compton Baseball Academy Teams.

"I haven't really played baseball since 1999 my first season in the ABA and I was really missing it. This has been a fun spring and should continue to be a better summer. "

Lee who in 11 games is batting .400, with 11 RBIs, 10 stolen bases, while batting #2 in the lineup.

Lee will be joined by teammate Danny Quintero who leads the team with 3 HRs, 11 RBIs, and is batting .497

The allstar game is this Sunday, June 24th at Birmingham High School at 2pm.
