Lee stated, "The registration for the camp will begin promptly at 10am. The fee for participating in each camp is $50. Walk-up registration fee on the day of the tryout is $75 and cash only."

"We had a really bad season on the court finishing 3-28, but we had some great moments as well and with 2007-2008 Buzz Captain Darwin 'DC' Carter (6'1, 187 G Tennessee State) being named to the 2008 ABA All Star Game, being named Buzz MVP and you add in there John 'Smitty' Smith (6'3 G U.C. Irvine) being named an alternate on the ABA All Star team and getting the Coaches Hustle Award possibly returning next season, we would like to find a few players to put around them as we look to be a force during the 2008-2009 season," Lee added.

Registration fees should be made payable to "The Maywood Buzz" in the form of a money order or cashier check only. You can also visit the Buzz web site at www.buzzbasketball.com and click on the registration link and sign up and pay online. Participants are required to bring their own gym shoes, towels, refreshments/beverages. The tryout camp will last approximately six hours. Participants will be required to sign a waiver and complete a registration form before being permitted to participate. This tryout camp is for players looking to become professional basketball players and players trying out should come in shape and ready to play as if the season started tomorrow.
