
Mayor Cashell Proclaims Nov. 20 as 'Reno Bighorns Day'

RENO, Nev.- Mayor Bob Cashell and the City of Reno have proclaimed Nov. 20, 2010, as "Reno Bighorns Day," which coincides with the Bighorns home opener that night at 7 p.m. against the Utah Flash.
In a packed gymnasium this afternoon at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, Donald W. Reynolds Facility, Mayor Cashell issued the proclamation, citing the Bighorns' community activism and commitment to sportsmanship as a few of the reasons for issuing the proclamation.
Bighorns Head Coach Eric Musselman and players Nick Fazekas and Patrick Ewing, Jr. were in attendance as well. Musselman and the players entertained questions from the crowd, and Ewing played a mock game of one-on-one with the mayor.
The Reno Bighorns home opener is Saturday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m., with a limited number of tickets still available. To purchase single-game tickets, fans can visit the Reno Events Center or Silver Legacy box office or order online at RenoBighorns.com or ticketmaster.com.
