Mayhem to Host Undefeated Fort Wayne this Saturday

(Cleveland, OH-April 2, 2009) Coming off their record-setting shutout victory over the Miami Valley Silverbacks last Friday night, the Marion Mayhem will host their Eastern Division rivals, the Fort Wayne Freedom at the Coliseum in Continental Indoor Football League action this Saturday night at 7:00PM.

After their 55-0 pounding of the Silverbacks last Friday night, Mayhem defensive back Walter Dudley was named the CIFL;s Defensive Player of the Week. Dudley finished the evening with five solo tackles and an interception which resulted in a touchdown for the Mayhem.

The Freedom, who have started the 2009 campaign with an undefeated record of 2-0, are coming off a 49-34 defeat of the expansion Wheeling Wildcats last Saturday night.

What: A Continental Indoor Football League game between the Fort Wayne Freedom (2-0) and the Marion Mayhem (2-1)

When: Saturday night, April 4th at 7PM (Doors open at 6PM)

Where: Veterans Memorial Coliseum (at the Marion County Fairgrounds)

Upcoming Games: After this Saturday's game, the Mayhem will be traveling to the Sears Center in Hoffman Estates, IL, where they will face the Chicago Slaughter on Saturday, April 11th at 7:05PM CST.
