Hoffman Estates, IL -- The Chicago Slaughter Professional Indoor Football Team is teaming up with Children's Memorial Hospital to help raise awareness and revenue to aid them in their efforts to assist children with health related issues.
Children's Memorial Hospital will be the beneficiary of the "Mascot-Mania Night," being held during the Slaughter's game against the Marion Mayhem on Saturday, April 11 at 7:05pm at the Sears Centre Arena. A portion of every ticket sold via this promotion will go directly to the hospital. Game Works of Schaumburg, Laser Quest and Domino's Pizza will be providing kids of all ages with free coupons worth over $11 per child at the game to help support this effort.
"We are proud to partner with such a tremendous medical center and for such a worthy cause," stated Gerry Clarke, President of the Chicago Slaughter. "This is a great opportunity for the team to help out members of our community by raising money for a great cause." The Children's Memorial Hospital was founded in 1882 as an eight bedroom cottage and has grown in size ever since. The hospital routinely provides more care to young patients than any other hospital in Chicago, and in 2008 had nearly 500,000 inpatient and outpatient encounters with children from 32 different countries and all 50 states. According to the U.S. and World News Report, Children's Memorial Hospital is consistently ranked as one of the nation's best children's hospitals.
The Chicago Slaughter plays out of the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, and hold a current record of 3-0. They are the only undefeated team in their league, the Continental Indoor Football League. Fans can order tickets by calling the Slaughter office at 847-310-3190 and mentioning the Children's Hospital, or by going online at www.ChicagoSlaughter.com.
