
Mavericks Tickets on Sale Saturday; Promotional Schedule and Mini Plans Announced

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - Missouri Mavericks single-game tickets for all 33 regular-season home games at Independence Events Center will go on sale at all Ticketmaster purchase points this Saturday, September 17 at 10 a.m. The Mavericks have also announced their promotional schedule for the 2011-12 season, and mini plans will go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, September 14 at noon.
The Mavericks will open their home schedule on Saturday, November 5 against the Wichita Thunder at Independence Events Center where parking is always free. The Mavericks' home schedule features 28 weekend games (12 on Friday, 14 on Saturday and two on Sunday) and five Super Tuesday games.
Individual tickets start at just $15 and can be purchased in person at the Independence Events Center Box Office or at local Ticketmaster outlets. All Ticketmaster outlets can be found at the Mavericks website and fans can also purchase tickets over the phone by calling (800) 745-3000 or online at www.Ticketmaster.com. While service fees may apply at all purchase points, the Mavericks are proud to be a leader in family affordable entertainment and lead the way in offering some of the lowest fees in the Kansas City area.
The Mavericks also announced today the team is now offering a 12+1 mini plan for the 2011-12 season. Fans can choose any 12 game dates at normal Box Office pricing (with NO fees) and get Fan Appreciation Night for free on Friday, March 23. At Independence Events Center, the Mavericks will continue to bring family affordable entertainment to their fan base and have announced the team's promotional schedule for the 2011-12 season. Fans will have the opportunity for giveaways including bobbleheads, cowbells, fleece blankets and more. The Mavericks will also bring in national entertainment acts including The Zooperstars! and Red Panda Acrobat.
