Mavericks, Rox Washed out on Wednesday

Portsmouth, N.H. - Wednesday night's scheduled contest between the Brockton Rox and the Seacoast Mavericks has been postponed due to inclement weather. The two teams will instead play a doubleheader on Friday, August 3rd at Leary Field in Portsmouth, N.H. The start date has yet to be determined.

The Brockton Rox (22-22) will look to climb out of sixth place in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL) standings with a doubleheader against the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide on Thursday night, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Thursday's twin bill will the first of three consecutive doubleheaders for the Rox.

Meanwhile, the seventh-place Seacoast Mavericks (20-23) are scheduled to host the Nashua Silver Knights on Thursday at 7 p.m.
