
Mavericks' Forward Ryan Jardine Returns from Injured Reserve

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Missouri Mavericks announced Thursday afternoon forward Ryan Jardine has been taken off the injured reserve list and will return to the Mavericks tonight when they take on the Bloomington Blaze in Bloomington. Due to Jardine's return to the active roster, the Mavericks were forced to make another move and the team has waived defenseman Matt Krug.
Jardine played in seven games for the Mavericks before being placed on injured reserve. The third-year Maverick has five points on a goal and four assists this season. He has not played since the Mavericks game on Nov. 4 against the Wichita Thunder.
Krug played in 18 games with the Mavericks this season and accounted for five assists.
The Mavericks return home on Saturday, December 8 and they will host Quad City again. The first 2,500 fans in the door will receive a free puck courtesy of Santa Fe Glass.
