NEXT GAME SATURDAY, JUNE 25TH!
This Saturday, June 25th the Maulers will play host to the Lubbock Gunslingers. Kick off is set for 7:30 P.M. at Garrett Coliseum. With it being the last game of the year the Maulers are showing their appreciation by calling it "Fan Appreciation Night." Prizes and other Mauler items will be given away to lucky fans throughout the night. A win for Montgomery will result in capturing the Central Division title and reserve a spot in the NIFL playoffs!
*MAULER MADNESS*
The Maulers kicked off their Mauler Madness sale on Monday, June 20th with ALL merchandise being 50% off! Come by our office located in Eastdale Mall or purchase items at Garrett Coliseum on June 25th and PREPARE TO BE MAULED!
"HOMETOWN HERO"
Cedrick Williams, President of the Southcentral Alabama Boys and Girls Club, will serve as this week's hometown hero. Mr. Williams has been practicing with the Maulers for the past week and will hopefully find time on the field Saturday.
COMMUNITY APPEARANCES
Here is a list of places where the Maulers team will be this coming week.
-Thursday, June 23rd players and dancers will be at Trenholm Boys and Girls Club as a part of our Summer program, "Reading with the Maulers."
COACH'S RADIO SHOW
The Montgomery Maulers invite fans to join the fun Monday June 27 and Tuesday July 5 for "Dinner with the Maulers" at Gator's Bar and Grill on Vaughn Road. Fans can join the team for dinner, drinks and talk football from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A live radio talk show featuring head coach James Shiver and the players will originate from the participating restaurant from 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The radio show will air on SportsRadio 740 (WMSP-AM).
FAN CLUB
Several Maulers fans have started a Fan Club, the Mauler Maniax, which is dedicated to the enhancement of the team. Members will receive an official Mauler Maniax t-shirt, a weekly newsletter, preferential tailgating, opportunities to write articles for the newsletter and exclusive voting for "Fan Club Player of Week."
The cost for membership is $10 per person or $25 for a family of four. Anyone interested in joining may contact the club's president Chris Yow at cyow@huntingdon.edu, by calling (205) 533-4864, or by logging onto the official website at maulermaniacs.tripod.com.
