Maulers release new schedule

The National Indoor Football League has now released new schedules for the 2006 season. The Montgomery Maulers will play a fourteen (14) game schedule at Garrett Coliseum beginning March 25 when they will entertain Chattanooga, TN.

The Maulers have been busy in the off season recruiting new players. After a series of three tryout sessions the coaches report that approximately 45 players will attend pre-season camp. Eighteen (18) members of the 2005 championship team are returning for the Maulers second year. Camp will begin Sunday February 26 with the first official meeting of the players and coaches. That meeting will be to set practice dates and outfit those attending camp. The Maulers are looking forward to brand new uniforms this year in their favorite colors, red, white and blue.
