Maulers Announce National Anthem Performers

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Montgomery Maulers announce their national anthem singers for the remaining home games this season.

On Saturday May 14, Christian recording artist George Mangum will perform the anthem at the start of the Maulers game. Mangum has been a member of many choirs, ensembles and bands. Mangum has also traveled around the United States performing as a soloist with several award winning choirs and groups. He has recorded with the Alabama Festival Choir, Nashville String Machine and Tribe of Judah to mention a few.

For the Sunday May 22, game Steffi Ledbetter will perform for the Maulers. Ledbetter has performed for President George W. Bush when he came to AUM in Montgomery earlier this year. Ledbetter has also performed for the Montgomery Biscuits.

Rachel Moores will perform the national anthem on Saturday June 4. Moores was an extra in the movie Big Fish, which was filmed in Montgomery. Moores has also performed at the Biscuits and an Auburn University soccer game.

Katie Svela will perform for the Maulers final home game of the season on Saturday June 25. Svela has performed in many plays for Huntingdon College such as Oklahoma, To Kill a Mockingbird, Oliver and Into the Woods. Svela was also an extra in Big Fish.

The Maulers home games begin at 7:30 p.m. for Saturday night games and 3 p.m. for the Sunday afternoon games.
