Capitols Ready to Break the Fever
Lincoln, NE - -The Lincoln Capitols members of the NIFL are preparing to break the heat when they host the Fever this Friday night at the Pershing Center with the teams scheduled to kick off at 7:00. The Capitols are working hard to bring a Friday the 13th victory celebration to Pershing and their fans. Expecting a full squad and having had a productive week of practice the Capitols expect to be at full strength.
Tri-Cities and star QB Doug Coleman will be entering the game with a 3-4 record coming off last weeks 64-54 victory over the Wyoming Cavalry. This will be the first visit to Pershing by the expansion Fever franchise, as well as the first ever game between the two Pacific West Division teams.
The Capitols have added two players from Nebraska Wesleyan University, DL George Parker and OL Josh Cochran. They have also signed Kanya Jones. The Caps are hoping this brings depth to a line that has been plagued by injuries.
There is a Half Price Ticket Special for this weeks game. Give the Capitols office a call at 402-477-8888 to take advantage of this offer and come down to the Pershing Center this Friday to cheer the Caps to victory. Get on the bandwagon now, because its getting ready to roll.
