(WOODBRIDGE, VA) New Potomac Nationalsmanager Matt LeCroy will headline a list of distinguished members of theWashington organization Sunday at the P-Nats' Hot Stove Banquet. Making his first public appearancesince being named the Nationals' new skipper, LeCroy will greet the fans alongwith a host of members of the Washington front office.
LeCroy's newly named hitting coach MarkHarris will join the fun at the Hilton Springfield this Sunday, January30. Washington's assistant generalmanager Bryan Minniti - the keynote speaker for the evening - will be joined bydirector of player development Doug Harris. Carolina League President John Hopkins and former Virginiacongressman Tom Davis will also be in attendance.
In addition to a plated dinner, theevening will also feature a Silent Auction benefiting S.P.A.R.K. (SupportingPartnerships and Resources for Kids), formerly known as the Prince WilliamCounty Public Schools Education Foundation. The auction will featurememorabilia from all sports and professional teams around the country, as wellas signed Nationals memorabilia. The auction will also include vacationpackages, the opportunity to be GM for a day at a P-Nats home game in 2011, andmuch more. The silent auction will run from 5:30 until 7:45, while the Dinnerand Program get underway at 6:30.
