Iacopelli earns the honors in due part to his four-goal performance in the three games played this past weekend against the Sioux Falls Stampede twice at home on Friday and Saturday along with a road game against the USNTDP Under-18 Team in Ann Arbor on Sunday.
"It feels great to receive the honor. I just continue to play my game trying to get better every time that I take the ice," said Iacopelli. "What has helped me out the most is staying focused while doing whatever I can to help the team win in the end."
