FC Cincinnati News Release
CINCINNATI - Back in the Queen City, FC Cincinnati look to regain their form and break through at home against Inter Miami CF. Miami was the first team to visit TQL Stadium, back in May. The match was end-to-end, with the Orange and Blue equalizing late before falling 3-2.
It's a chance to get revenge against a squad that has found its form, and it's a chance to continue to fight for valuable points in an Eastern Conference that is very bunched up, and every match can move clubs up or down in the table.

SCOUTING INTER MIAMI CF (6-5-9 - 23 pts - 11th, Eastern Conference)
It's been a roller coaster for Miami this season. After beating FC Cincy earlier this season, they lost six straight matches. Since then, Miami have lost just one in their last eight matches, including winning two of their last three.
Gonzalo Higuaín brings a swagger and star power to the squad, leading Miami in both goals (eight) and assists (four) so far this season. Nick Marsman and John McCarthy have split time in net this season, keeping just one clean sheet each.
STORYLINES TO WATCH
Acosta's Assists- Midfielder Luciano Acosta's assist on Isaac Atanga's goal in the 74' against Columbus was his sixth in an FC Cincinnati shirt. That number puts him past Emmanuel Ledesma (2019) for the most assists in a single season as well as overall in an FCC uniform.
Super Sub - Brandon Vasquez has been an impact player for Jaap Stam off the bench this season, making 18 appearances as a substitute in FC Cincy's 20 matches so far this season. 18 appearances without a start is the second most in MLS History, behind only Brian Ownby (HOU, 2014) and Jamil Walker (SJ, 2003), who both had 19.
Unruly Guests
- Inter Miami CF were the first team to do battle with FC Cincinnati in its new soccer cathedral, TQL Stadium. Brek Shea opened the scoring for the visitors in the 7', and Higuaín made it two after 38'. But FC Cincy fought back, goals from Brenner (59') and Nick Hagglund (82') leveling the match in front of the raucous crowd. Higuaín would get one more in the 85', earning all three points for Miami. FC Cincinnati will look to flip the script this Saturday.
