Marshals Tackle Hara Arena

January 24, 2007 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
The Marshals News Release

After months of active negotiations with Wall2Wall Soccer, The Marshals, of the National Indoor Football League, are disappointed to report that they will not be playing in Mason for the 2007 NIFL season. While the Marshals were looking forward to making the move to Mason neither the Marshals or Wall2Wall Soccer could agree on the details of a contract. The Marshals Organization wishes the ownership and staff of Wall2Wall Soccer nothing but the best of luck in their future endeavors.

After realizing that the two sides were going to be unable to reach a contrac in time for scheduling to take place for the season, The Marshals ownership and staff began pursuing other options for this season.

The Marshals are happy to announce that they will be playing the 2007 season at Hara Arena, 1001 Shiloh Springs Road, in Dayton, Ohio. "This move was important for the Marshals organization because we needed a home for the 2007 season and Hara Arena has been very, very good to us." Said Marshals Owner and GM Doug Hortman.

"We are excited about the opportunity to bring a solid organization with local ownership to Hara Arena and to Dayton but we do not want to forget about the fans of Cincinnati who made this organization the success that it is today." Assistant GM Ryan L. Sparks said. "As a show of appreciation to all of our fans, The Marshals and Hara arena will not be charging parking for the Marshals games in 2007."

Ticket prices for The Marshals season will be announced as soon as possible. If you have already purchased 2007 season tickets The Marshals will honor the previous Mason ticket prices. For season ticket information please contact The Marshals Director of Sales, Mark Eppley, at Mark@cincinnatimarshalsfootball.com. For tickets please contact the Hara Arena Box Office at (937) 278-4776 or Ticketmaster at (937) 228-2323. Tickets for Marshals games range from $12-$20 per game. Season tickets are also available.

The Marshals ended the 2006 season with a disappointing playoff loss in the NIFL Atlantic Division Semi-Finals after making the playoffs for the second consecutive season. The Diamond Deputies were also named best dance team in the NIFL for the 2nd consecutive season.
