Marshals Looking For Players For 2006 Season

Cincinnati, OH - The Cincinnati Marshals will host free agent workouts on January 14, 2006 at U.S. Bank Arena as they prepare for the 2006 season. The Marshals are under new ownership as they prepare for their second season in the National Indoor Football League, and will continue to play at U.S. Bank Arena. The season runs from March through July.

There will be a registration fee for player workouts. Cost will be $60 at the door, cash or check, or $50 for any players who pre-register for workouts by contacting P.J. Conboy at 937-608-0026 or by email at cincinnatimarshalsfootball@gmail.com.

Workouts will take place at U.S. Bank Arena, which is located at 100 Broadway in the middle of downtown Cincinnati, and will be broken down into several testing areas. Registration will run from 8:15 until 9 a.m., testing begins at 9 a.m. with players being tested in the 40-yard dash, 20-yard short shuttle, vertical leap, broad jump, bench press (225 lbs), and an IQ Test. There will be a break at noon for lunch before position specific drills begin. Drills for kickers will take place from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. and. there will be position specific drills and group drills from 1:30 p.m. until 4 p.m.

All players should bring shorts, turf shoes and any other necessary clothing. T-Shirts will be provided.

Parking is available at the East Garage adjacent to U.S. Bank Arena.
