Marshals Announce 2006 Schedule

Cincinnati fans will have to wait a couple of weeks to check out the 2006 version of the Cincinnati Marshals.
The Marshals will play seven home games at U.S. Bank Arena as they enter their second season in the National Indoor Football League under new ownership.
The Marshals open their NIFL schedule with back-to-back road games before making their home debut at 7:30 p.m. on April 1 when they host the expansion Twin City Gators from Monroe, LA. The Marshals will also host East Division rivals River City Rage and the Dayton Bulldogs (formerly the Warbirds) on back-to-back weeks on April 22 and 29. The expansion Arkansas Stars come to the U.S. Bank Arena on May 20 before the first year Tennessee River Sharks swim into town on May 27. Cincinnati closes their home schedule with a pair of South Division squads. The Osceola Outlaws ride into town on June 10 before the Marshals close their home schedule on June 24 against defending South Division champ the Miami Morays.
The Marshals open the season on March 18 at the expansion Hammond Heroes before traveling to St. Louis to take on the River City Rage on March 26. Cincinnati travels to Dayton on April 9 before hitting the Big Sky Thunder in Bozeman, MT. on April 15. Cincinnati also has road games with three other expansion teams: the Tennessee River Sharks (May 5), the Charleston Sandsharks (June 17) and the Charlotte (NC) franchise on June 30.
Cincinnati finished 8-6 last season to tie with the Warbirds for second place in the East Division behind the Rage. The Marshals, however, knocked the Rage out of the hunt for the Indoor Bowl title with a 67-64 win the Atlantic Conference quarter finals.
