TCL Acadiana Cane Cutters

Marshalls win 10-1

July 26, 2013 - Texas Collegiate League (TCL)
Acadiana Cane Cutters News Release

The Acadiana Cane Cutters took the field for game two of their two-game series with the Texas Marshals on Friday, looking to get back to their winning ways. The team has been on a torrid pace since the beginning of the second half of Texas Collegiate League play, amassing a three game lead in the standings as we enter the stretch run.

Unfortunately, sometimes road games prove hard to maintain momentum. The Cane Cutters lost another one to the Texas Marshalls at McKinney tonight. Kyle Cedotal was the starting pitcher, and by the bottom of the first, Cane Cutters were down 5-0. The Marshalls went on to score another run in the second. By the top of the 8th, the Marshalls were leading 9-1. The game ended with the score at 10-1. The Cane Cutters ended their road trip, and return home for games Saturday and Sunday.

Tomorrow night, July 27, Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center is hosting Acadiana Superheroes Night where all area emergency responders are invited to Fabacher Field for FREE as the Cutters take on the visiting Texas Marshals. Contact the Cane Cutters front office for more information. Then, on Sunday, join the community for Faith & Family Night at the stadium. The Trinity Bible Church Worship Team will be performing a pregame concert beginning at 6:00 PM and twenty-percent of all pre-sold tickets will go to benefit the Bridge Ministry of Acadiana. Visit the CaneCuttersBaseball.com homepage to find the link for Faith & Family Night ticket preorders. Keep up with all the latest news and notes on Facebook, Acadiana Cane Cutters Baseball, and by Following the team on Twitter @CaneCuttersBB.
