In 2001-02, his senior season at Purdue, Marshall averaged 5.9 points per game. He also played collegiately at Southern Idaho and Mississippi State. He is a native of Mobile, having played his prep basketball at John LeFlore High School.

Marshall is expected to be in uniform when the Revelers host Columbus tonight at the Mardi Gras Dome in Mobile. Marshall will wear uniform number 15.
