
Marquinhos Pedroso Undergoes Successful Offseason Surgery to Repair Core Muscle Injury

FRISCO, TEXAS - FC Dallas' defender Marquinhos Pedroso had successful surgery to repair a muscle core injury today at the Vincera Institute in Philadelphia, PA.
The procedure was performed by Dr. William Myers. He is expected to recover fully in six-to-eight weeks.
Pedroso, 25, signed with FC Dallas using Targeted Allocation Money on July 5. He started in 10 straight games for Dallas, following his first MLS start in the 3-2 win against Sporting Kansas City on July. He played 1,130 minutes in 13 starts.
