The Mariners won the game with a one-run tenth inning. Pulaski scratched across the lone run without the benefit of a hit. Tom Verdi led off the inning by reaching second on a throwing error by Olloque. Two consecutive sacrifice bunts would bring Verdi home.
Trey Cochran-Gill (3-0, 0.00 ERA) struck out the side to close out the contest.
Pulaski takes a day off before heading to Danville for a crucial series with the Braves. Wednesday's win at Burlington brings the Mariners within two game of the division-leading Braves who play later tonight against the Kingsport Mets.
