March Madness comes to Barre this weekend

South Burlington, VT - The Vermont Frost Heaves will be hosting 3 games in Barre this weekend and after last Friday's Overtime victory over the Millrats, the craziness of March Madness could not come at a better time.
On Friday, March 13, the Frost Heaves will be hosting the Quebec City Kebekwa in Barre at 7:05 p.m. Quebec is coming off of a loss to Manchester and is out of the playoffs for this season. That does not mean they will be taken lightly. The Kebs always play hard and fans should expect nothing but the best from both teams. Recent trades with Manchester have bolstered the Kebs line-up and some familiar faces will be on the floor. Friday's game is being sponsored by FRANK FM and FROGGY 100.9.
On Saturday, March 14, the Frost Heaves will be hosting the Montreal PBL team in Barre at 4:05 p.m. This game was originally scheduled to be in Montreal, but has been moved to Barre.
Tickets for this game will go on sale on Thursday afternoon March 12, in Barre at the Aud. The doors will open at 3:00 p.m. and stay open until 7:00 p.m. to allow fans enough time to get their seats. Ticket prices will be $10 for reserved seating and $5 for all General Admission seats. Tickets can also be purchased at Allen Lumber beginning on Thursday afternoon at 3:00p.m. Allen Lumber will only have General Admission tickets. Beginning on Friday morning, any unsold reserved seats and General Admission tickets can also be purchased through the Flynn Box Office. Additional fees will apply if purchased through the Flynn Box Office.
Season Ticket holders who would like to purchase their seats may do so on Thursday afternoon and must come to the Barre Auditorium to purchase their tickets. If after Thursday they have not been reserved, those seats will be put up for sale on Friday at the Flynn Box Office and on Saturday at the ticket window. Cash, Master Card and Visa will be accepted for payment on Thursday.
On Sunday, March 15, the Buffalo Stampede invades Barre to close out the weekend. Tip time is 2:05 p.m. March Madness at its finest. We hope to see everyone there to help push the Frost Heaves into the playoffs. All games count in the PBL regular season standings, so come help us fight for a wild card spot!
Tickets for all Frost Heaves games are available at the Flynn Box Office in person, by calling 802-86-FLYNN or online at flynntix.org. Tickets for Barre games only are also available at Allen Lumber in Barre and First in Fitness in Montpelier. The Frost Heaves are proud to partner with the Vermont State Employees Credit Union and the Vermont Army National Guard.
Also, with today's deadline for roster moves, the Frost Heaves have released Richard Millsap and activated Chris Cayole for the remainder of the season.
