Colorado Crush News Release

(Loveland, CO) - Staff at the Budweiser Events Center hosted their own version of March Madness this weekend, as over 18,700 guests enjoyed four exciting events, including three sellouts, over a 48-hour span.

The Colorado Eagles kicked off the busy weekend on Friday night as they took on the Ontario Reign. Once the building was cleared, the first of four venue transformations began. Staff covered the ice and laid down the football turf in time for the Colorado Ice game against the Wyoming Cavalry at noon on Saturday.

After a Colorado Ice victory, staff had just a few hours to remove the turf and polar floor and re-install the hockey glass for the Colorado Eagles' game that evening. The venue was transformed over night once again for the sold out Darius Rucker True Believers Tour featuring Eli Young Band with special guest David Nail on Sunday at 7 p.m. Finally, the stage was taken down and the ice was uncovered again for Eagles practice Monday morning.

All 48 hours of action were captured in a four-minute time lapse that can be seen by clicking here, or by visiting http://goo.gl/5x1tHq .
