DUNEDIN, Fla. - Trailing by two runs in the ninth inning, the Marauders rallied back for another come-from-behind victory by a final score of 7-5 over the Dunedin Blue Jays on Tuesday night at TD Ballpark.

The win was the Marauders' seventh in a row, moving the team within two of matching its franchise record of nine straight wins, set in July and August of 2011.

With one out in the ninth and a two-run deficit, Alexander Mojica drew a walk from Blue Jays right-hander Roither Hernandez (1-1). Norkis Marcos followed with a single to right field, and Hudson Head walked to load the bases for the Marauders (16-9). Hernandez then uncorked a wild pitch, and Mojica ran home and slid under the tag of Hernandez covering home, bringing the Marauders within one run. Ernny Ordonez, who had entered in the seventh as an emergency pinch-hitter, lined a go-ahead, two-run triple to right field, giving Bradenton a 7-5 lead.

Oliver Mateo worked around a pair of walks and two wild pitches in the bottom of the ninth, stranding two runners and earning the save.

The Marauders had taken a 2-0 lead in the first inning on an RBI-triple by Jase Bowen and an Endy Rodriguez RBI-single. But the Blue Jays (8-17) chipped away, plating one run in the first inning and working Marauders starter Luis Ortiz for back-to-back walks to open the bottom of the third. After a strikeout, shortstop Maikol Escotto fielded a would-be double-play grounder and threw wildly past second base, allowing the tying run to score from second base. Addison Barger followed with a go-ahead, two-run double for a 4-2 Dunedin lead, knocking Ortiz from the game.

Cameron Junker entered in relief and held the Blue Jays scoreless over the next two innings. After the Marauders got a sacrifice fly from Mojica in the fourth to come back within one run, Jared Jones labored through the sixth inning on the mound for Bradenton, as a Bowen error at second base opened the gates for a Blue Jays insurance run, making the score 5-3.

Wandi Montout (2-0) followed in relief, holding Dunedin scoreless in the seventh and eighth to keep the game within reach for the Marauders.

Each of the nine players in the Marauders' order reached base safely in the game, and seven of the nine recorded a hit. With a first-inning double, Escotto extended his on-base streak to 19 games.

The series continues Wednesday with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at TD Ballpark. RHP Santiago Florez is scheduled to start for the Marauders against a yet-to-be-announced starter for the Blue Jays.
