CHICAGO - Louisville wide receiver/defensive back CESARE MANNING, Bossier-Shreveport wide receiver/defensive back REGGIE PERKINS and Green Bay defensive specialist DAVID CROCKER have been named the Offensive Player, U.S. Army Ironman and ADT Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, for Week 13 of the 2005 season.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Manning (6-1, 200, Indianapolis), in his rookie season, tied an af2 record with seven touchdown receptions in Louisville's 73-63 win over the Conquest in Albany. Manning finished with 12 receptions for 152 yards and seven touchdowns. He also returned one kickoff for five yards. This is the fourth time in af2 history a player has caught seven touchdowns in a game. That last player to accomplish this feat was Eric Mahanke for Bakersfield in 2003. Manning stepped up his game late, scoring all four of the Fire's touchdowns in the fourth quarter. This is Manning's first weekly award. That last Louisville Fire player to be honored by the league with a weekly award was Demetrius Forney in Week 9 of this season. Forney took home U.S. Army Ironman of the Week honors.

U.S. ARMY IRONMAN OF THE WEEK

On offense Perkins was the Battle Wings' leading receiving, catching 11 passes for 134 yards and touchdown catches of 12 and 45 yards. On special teams he returned four kickoffs 134 yards, including a 50-yard return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Perkins led the Battle Wings' defense in tackles with six solo stops. He also recovered a fumble in the third quarter that lead to a Bossier-Shreveport touchdown. This is Perkins' first weekly award of his career. Teammate Joe Wesley won this same award in Week 7 of this season.
