Final Home Game of 2004 - This Friday, July 30 vs. W-B/Scranton - "Fan Appreciation Night"
Fans are invited to join the Wolves for their final home game this Friday, July 30 against the W-B/Scranton Pioneers at the Verizon Wireless Arena. Kick-off for this event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and the first 1,000 fans through the doors will receive a FREE souvenir football, courtesy of The Workout Club & Wellness Center, Rock 101 WGIR FM and WGIR AM 610. To get in the game, purchase your tickets today at the Verizon Wireless Arena box office or through Ticketmaster at 603-868-7300, at Ticketmaster outlets or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Wolves and City of Nashua Team Up for Nashua Community Night
Nashua Mayor Bernard A. Streeter will be a special guest at this Friday's game as part of the Wolves' Nashua Community Night. This promotion will allow all Nashua city employees and their families to attend the game at a discounted rate. The Wolves are also offering groups of 20 or more that are from Nashua the same price. "The Manchester Wolves are a great venue for families to get together and enjoy some very exciting arena football. This event allows City employees to enjoy a night out and show some community pride," Streeter said.
Wolves Fall To 5-10, Lose At Albany, 54-47
Albany WR/DB Cy Butler's nine-yard TD run with 30 seconds left in the game lifted the Albany Conquest to a 54-47 victory over the Manchester Wolves Friday night at Pepsi Arena in Albany, N.Y. in front of 6,862 fans. In a game that had eight lead changes, including seven in the second half, Manchester (5-10) took a 47-44 lead on a Mel Long 22-yard TD reception from QB Chris Sanders with 5:53 left in the game. Sanders finished 21-of-40 passing for 306 yards with four TD passes and one interception. Albany (6-9) tied the game at 47-47 on Vinny Cirrincione's second field goal of the game, this one a 26-yard boot with 1:38 left in regulation. Manchester got the ball on their three-yard line on the ensuing kickoff, but their drive stalled on downs at their own nine-yard line. Butler also caught three passes for 35 yards with one TD reception. Albany's Tony Locke caught a season-high 10 passes for 170 yards with four TD receptions of 19,45, 40, and ten yards. Locke set an Albany Conquest single-season franchise record of 40 total touchdowns. Locke had five kickoff returns for 135 yards. He also established Albany's single-season franchise kickoff return yardage record with 1,302 yards.

Wolves QB Chris Sanders has taken the team record book and made it his own, at least as far as the passing section is concerned. This year the veteran quarterback has set seven new team records, four career records and three game records.

Wolves Community Events Calendar
This Saturday, July 31, members of the Wolves and the Wolves dance team will be making a special appearance at The Workout Club & Wellness Center of Manchester (93 S. Maple Street). Team members will be on hand signing autographs and mingling with patrons from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. The dance team will be signing autographs as well in addition to performing several routines.
