Wolves Defeat Cape Fear For Second Straight Win
Manchester's Allistair Sebastien intercepted a Chris Wallace pass in the endzone with no time remaining to seal the Wolves' crucial 45-41 victory against Cape Fear Saturday night in Fayetteville, NC. The Wolves (3-3) were led on offense by WR/DB George Williams and QB Chris Sanders. Williams scorched the Wildcats defenders with 13 catches for 151 yards with four touchdowns. Sanders was 21-of-35 for 225 yards with a franchise-record seven touchdown passes. Manchester WR/DB Reggie Robinson (4 catches, 35 yards, 2 TDs) and WR/LB Josh Liddell (2 catches, 1 TD, 5.5 total tackles) also played well. Defensively, Sebastien stood out for the Wolves with two key interceptions and four passes defended. With the win, Manchester improved to 3-0 against Northeast Division foes this season. The Wildcats (3-2) were led in defeat by OS Matt Burnstein, who had five catches for 81 yards and two touchdowns. Wallace finished the game 18-of-30 for 232 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions.

Wolves Off This Week; Practice Begins Again On Sat., May 15
The Wolves have a bye this week in their schedule and will not practice until this Sat., May 15. Most of the team will take this opportunity to visit friends and family for a few days.
Sanders Sets New Team Record
In Saturday night's 45-41 road win at Cape Fear, Manchester QB Chris Sanders set a new franchise record for most touchdown passes in a game with seven (7). Sanders eclipsed the previous team high mark of six, which was hit on three occasions. Former QB Greg Smith threw for six touchdowns on two separate occasions last year (2003) while Cable Davis threw for six touchdowns in a game on one occasion in 2002.

Wolves Continue To Make Moves In The Community
The Wolves may be on a break from football this week, but off the field they'll continue to stay active. The team is reaching out to the greater Manchester community and beyond to assist those in need. This week the Wolves, along with "Blitz," the team's official mascot, have a number of appearances planned, including:
Thursday, May 13 (9:00 AM) - Team mascot Blitz is scheduled to appear at the Souhegan Valley Boys & Girls Club 10th Annual Golf Tournament to be held at the Amherst Country Club.
Saturday, May 15 (9:00 AM - Noon) - Members of the Wolves and the Wolves dance team will be appearing in Hooksett for the Hooksett Hurricanes Pop Warner/Cheer signups. The signups will be held at the town library.
Saturday, May 15 (9:00 - 11 AM) - Team mascot Blitz is scheduled to appear at the local Manchester walk for the Arthritis Foundation. The event will be held at Webster Elementary School on Elm Street. Registration will run from 9:00 - 10:00 AM. The walk begins at 10 AM.
Sunday, May 16 (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM) - Team mascot Blitz is scheduled to appear at a bicycle safety rodeo event, presented by The Bike Barn. The outing will be held outside the store at 33 S. Commercial Street in Manchester.
Doctor's Notes
This past weekend the Wolves were able to escape their game with Cape Fear not only with a win, but also with no real injuries to report. Manchester is hoping to have former New England Patriot Vernon Crawford back in action for the team's next game against Birmingham, which will be held on Friday, May 21 at the Verizon Wireless Arena. Crawford's return should provide an added presence to the Wolves budding offensive and defensive fronts.
