
Manchester-Rochester Showdown at Hand

(March 30, 2009 Manchester, NH): The Manchester Millrats are ready for Thursday night's Premiere Basketball League playoff showdown with the defending champion Rochester Razorsharks.
The Razorsharks are led by 6'4 shooting guard Keith Friel, a graduate of Oyster River High School in Durham, New Hampshire. Friel is the Razorsharks all time leading scorer, and is currently lighting up the scoreboards for 20.8 points per game on a sizzling 43.5% three point shooting.
The #3 ranked Manchester Millrats (16-4), will face the #2 seed Rochester Razorsharks (16-3) in a best-of-three series, as the PBL Playoffs come to New Hampshire. Game 1 will debut this Thursday night, April 2nd at 7:00pm at the Fieldhouse on the campus of Southern New Hampshire University. Game 2 will tip off at 1:05pm on Sunday at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York. If necessary, Game 3 will be on Tuesday at 7:00pm in Rochester. The winner of the series will advance to the PBL Finals.
The PBL Playoffs opened in Wilmington, North Carolina Wednesday night, as the #4 seed, the Wilmington Sea Dawgs held off a furious rally from the Vermont Frost Heaves and advanced 96-90. Wilmington will now face the #1 seed, the Battle Creek Knights, in a best-of-three series with the winner advancing to the PBL Finals.
