Mammoth Rally for 12-11 OT Win
December 30, 2023 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Vancouver Warriors News Release
DENVER, CO - The Colorado Mammoth scored seven unanswered second half goals, including the overtime winner at 4:13 of the extra quarter, to beat the Vancouver Warriors 12-11 in sudden death.
The Warriors appeared to have the overtime winner on the stick of Keegan Bal, but after a lengthy review, the officials ruled Bal touched the crease and the game continued. Connor Robinson ended it moments later for Colorado.
The Warriors had a five-goal night from New Westminster's Kevin Crowley. Adam Charalambides led all scorers for Vancouver, with three goals and four assists for seven points. Other scorers for the Warriors included Keegan Bal, James Rahe and Riley Loewen.
Aaron Bold turned aside 41 shots in the loss.
The Warriors will now hit their second bye week of the season and return home for a battle against the Calgary Roughnecks and COUNTRY NIGHT at Rogers Arena. Opening faceoff will be at 7:00PM.
