Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth announced on Monday that Cody Moll, the team's assistant equipment manager, has been named the inaugural recipient of the President's Award, the highest honor bestowed to a Mammoth player, coach or staff member.
"I can't say enough good things about Cody," said team president & general manager Steve Govett. "He bleeds burgundy through and through and is always eager to assist, all while having a smile on his face. Cody has an incredibly bright future ahead of him. We're fortunate to have him as a member of our organization."
Moll, a student at Metro State University of Denver, is in his third season with the Mammoth. The award he won will be presented to future recipients by the president of the Mammoth "at such times as he/she deems fit to a member of the Mammoth organization who performs with a very high standard of excellence over a single season or several years either on the floor as a player, within the executive staff, or a combination of both".
The Colorado native missed one game earlier this season as he volunteered to help build a basketball court for underprivileged youth in Kansas City.
