Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth announced today that the team is hosting a toy drive this weekend at training camp. Players and coaches are donating new toys, and fans are asked to do the same.
"There is no greater gift than the gift of giving," said Mammoth President & General Manager Steve Govett. "As an organization, we are all participating in the toy drive and we ask our fans who are able to donate to please join us in our efforts."
When training camp opens this afternoon, every Mammoth player, coach and front office staff member will have a toy in-hand. Fans can donate toys at the team's inter-squad scrimmages at Parker Fieldhouse (18700 E. Plaza Dr. / Parker, CO) on Saturday night (8:30pm MST) or Sunday morning (8:00am MST). Donations will also be accepted next week (Monday-Friday) from 8:30am MST to 5:00pm MST daily at the Pepsi Center East Atrium reception. All fans who donate will be entered to win an exclusive Mammoth hand-signed item.
Mammoth players will then hand-deliver the toys to underprivileged local youth in mid-December.
