Mammoth 2012 Schedule Released

DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth announced today that the National Lacrosse League schedule for the 2012 season has been released. The Mammoth hosts the Minnesota Swarm on Saturday, January 14, at 7pm MST on Opening Night on HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center.

"We had several heated exchanges with the Swarm in 2011," said Mammoth President & General Manager Steve Govett. "Last week, we acquired three Minnesota players via trade. It all makes for what should be a memorable opener to our 10th-anniversary season."

In its eight home games, the Mammoth hosts seven unique opponents. Highlights include a visit to ‚¬ËœThe Loudest House in Lacrosse' by reigning league MVP Jeff Shattler and the Calgary Roughnecks on Friday, February 24, as well as a match-up with the 2011 NLL champion Toronto Rock on Saturday, April 14.

"This is the most diverse home schedule we've had in our history," said Govett. "It's a great opportunity for our fans to see unique opponents week-in and week-out."
